Delayed from January due to the wintry weather, here are the photos of the belated running of the Vintage Sports Car Club's annual New Year driving tests day at Brooklands. All good clean VSCC fun!

The 2009 season kicks off in style at the historic Brooklands circuit with the annual Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) New Year Driving Tests. Much fun was had with cones and lovely old cars on the Brooklands banking.

It has been a long time since I have been able to make it along to a Vintage Sports Car Club event. The VSCC Sprint at Goodwood seemed too good a chance to miss and the usual mix of wonderful old tine was out to play. It is a pity the weather (and light) wasn't so cooperative!

Anyone who knows me knows I that heartily dislike "tilt shots" so any weird and wonderful angles contained within this gallery are as a result of the incredibly steep (and slippery) Brooklands banking.

The "Bugatti, Classic and Vintage" meeting from the Prescott Speed Hill Climb course held on Saturday 22nd July 2006. Classes included the Bugatti Handicap, Ginetta Owners Club Speed Championship, Pre-War Austin 7 Bert Hadley Memorial Championship, MGCC Speed Championship, Michelin Porsche Club GB Speed Championship, Ferrari Owners Club Speed Championship, Morgan Sports Car Club Speed Challenge, TVR Speed Challenge and the Vintage Sports Car Club Handicap.

A welcome return to track racing from the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) in their Spring Start meeting held at Silverstone circuit on 8th April 2006. Star of the show was undoubtedly the awsome Napier Bentley which stunned the crowd with it's tyre shredding exits from Luffield.

The Vintage Sports Car Club at the Shelsley Walsh speed hillclimb on Sunday 3rd July. The mighty Bentley Napier was the star of the show!

Vintage Sports Car Club at the historic Brooklands race track. Shots were taken with an EOS 10D or EOS 1D Mark II using a Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8, Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 and Canon EF 17-40 f/4L. All images have been reduced in size for web display.

Note that the camera was held level for all shots. Any tilt is due to the angle of the Brooklands banking.
